Adding the biggest coaster in their history, SeaWorld San Diego promises to entertain families and thrill seekers alike with Electric Eel.
The ride, a Premier Rides Sky Rocket II model, will launch riders backward and forward through the station before reaching a top speed of 62 miles per hour. After cresting a 150-foot hill and spiraling through an inverted heartline roll, riders will be rushed through a non-inverting loop and sent flying back into the station.
Though short, the ride will pack a powerful punch in a small amount of space – something necessary for a park with limited space like SeaWorld San Diego. Electric Eel will join Tempesto at Busch Gardens Williamsburg as the chain’s second Sky Rocket II when it opens next summer.
